Greetings! My name is Melissa Augustus. I am teaching English I, II, and II Honors at Rivercrest High School. My room is located in the High School building in room 108.
On a personal note, I have been married to Jeff Augustus for 22 years. We have 3 GREAT sons!! Blake is 2008 Rivercrest graduate who is now attending Texas A&M University in College Station. Braden is a Sophomore at RHS and will graduate with the Class of 2012. Baylor is a 3nd grader at Rivercrest Elementary. Jeff and I are very proud of our sons and all of their accomplishments :)
I enjoy my profession. I believe each student can learn IF he/she is willing to put forth the effort. I welcome parents' visits or phone calls. Communication is essential in education. If parents or students have any questions, please let me hear from you. If I do not know the answer to the question, I will find someone who does.
